wootAmator requirements

• Windows Vista or XP with .NET Framework 2.0 or later installed.
• Other versions of Windows should work if the framework is installed.
• The installer will automatically install the framework if necessary.

installation

Download the zip file (at right), unpack the contents to a folder on your machine and run SETUP.EXE. Follow the instructions on the screen. When the install process is finished, run wootAmator from your start menu.

using wootAmator

Click to show/hide wootAmator's settings.

launches your browser and shows the product page for the currently displayed product.

launches your browser and puts the item in your shopping cart.

The Refresh interval determines how often wootAmator checks the woot! web site to see if their offering has changed.  If it has, wootAmator will give a visual and audible cue.  When woot's product contains the keyword "crap" (as in Random Crap), wootAmator will launch your browser and put one in your cart automagically if the checkbox is checked.  Un-checking the "Stay on top" box will allow you to minimize wootAmator.  The green colored square on the left changes color every time wootAmator updates, so you can tell that it's actually doing something.  The bar graph on the right shows the progress indicator and turns red when inventory has reached 15%.

important notes:

wootAmator does not automatically purchase anything for you. It's totally up to you to decide how many of something you want and complete the purchase.

wootAmator is also completely safe and won't try to hijack your computer or steal your personal information or anything nasty like that. I promise.
