to an existing one, I can help you. From 4-page simple brochure sites to large,
complex, data-driven applications, I've probably done it before. I can accomodate
multiple platforms and databases: ASP/.NET/PHP/SQL/CSS/JS/FLASH and related technologies.
Systems architecture
Architecture, in the technology sense, is the process of putting different technologies
together to solve a business problem. Trying to figure out how to accomplish
a business process more efficiently? Not even sure if technology can help
you? With a simple consultation we can come up with some ideas together that
will get you going in building a roadmap.
Application development
Need a custom program to do a specific task? I can do that to.
Networking and datacenter implementation
This is the server-side stuff. I prefer to stay in the Microsoft and Linux
spaces here. If you need a simple file server, office wiring, mail server,
web server, database server, cluster, server farm, distributed WAN, secure wireless
WLAN, firewall, etc, etc. By no means do I know everything, but if it's in
your organization, I probably have some experience with it.
Hardware and software stuff
Yes, I can take your computer apart and fix it. Yes, I can teach you Excel.
Yes, I can show you how to get your email when you're out of the office. No,
I cannot fix your printer - throw it away and buy a new one.
Telecommunications and mobility
What's your organization's communication strategy? Companies nearly always
spend more than they have to here, usually because it's hard to understand what
your provider is charging you for. Bring me in to do an analysis of your communications
needs and existing services. I can probably save you some money.
